Plain English summary We collect the minimum we need to talk to you and run engagements. We don't sell your data. We don't run ad-tracking pixels. If you ever want your information removed, email sneha@praxline.com and we'll do it.

01Who we are

Praxline ("we," "us," "our") is an independent digital operations firm. The data controller for this site and any engagement is Sneha Khaitan, founder. Reach us at sneha@praxline.com.

02What we collect

We collect only what you give us, plus a small amount of standard server-side data:

  • Information you give us — name, email, firm name, message content, anything you put in a contact form, brief, or chat conversation.
  • Server logs — IP address, browser type, page URLs visited, timestamps. Standard hosting log data, kept briefly for security and debugging.
  • Email subscriber data — if you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address and any explicit preferences you set.

We do not collect financial details, government IDs, or any sensitive personal data via this site.

03How we use it

We use your data only for the purposes you'd expect:

  • Replying to enquiries you send us
  • Running engagements you've contracted us to deliver
  • Sending the newsletter, only to people who explicitly subscribed
  • Operating, maintaining, and securing the website
  • Meeting our legal and accounting obligations

We don't profile you for ads. We don't sell or rent contact data to anyone, ever.

04Cookies & tracking

This site runs two analytics tools on every page: Google Analytics (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity. Clarity records mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and session replays so we can see how visitors actually use the site; GA4 gives us aggregate traffic and conversion numbers. Neither is used to build cross-site advertising profiles, and we don't run ad-tracking pixels.

On your first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept or reject these non-essential cookies before they load — see the banner that appears at the bottom of the screen. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for praxline.com and reloading the page. Strictly necessary cookies (the ones needed for the site to function) are not covered by this control and load regardless.

Embedded fonts are loaded from Fontshare CDN, which may set its own technical cookies; those are governed by Fontshare's policy.

05Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party services to run the firm and this website:

  • Google Analytics (GA4) — aggregate site traffic and conversion analytics. Loads only after cookie consent. See Google's privacy policy.
  • Microsoft Clarity — session recording, click and scroll heatmaps, used to see how visitors use the site so we can fix confusing pages. Loads only after cookie consent. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
  • Google Workspace — for email (sneha@praxline.com)
  • WhatsApp Business — for direct chat with clients
  • Newsletter service — for blog notifications (currently Formspree, later possibly Buttondown or Mailchimp)
  • Hosting provider — for the website itself

Each of these has its own privacy policy. We pick services with credible data-handling practices.

06Data sharing

We don't share your personal data with third parties except where:

  • You've explicitly asked us to (e.g. to introduce you to a trusted partner)
  • It's required for the engagement (e.g. you grant us a least-privilege admin login to your CMS, analytics or CRM so we can do the agreed work)
  • We're legally required to (court order, regulatory request)

We never sell or rent contact lists.

07Your rights

Wherever you're based, you can ask us to:

  • Access what we hold about you
  • Correct anything that's wrong
  • Delete your data (where we don't have a legal reason to keep it)
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time (one-click in any email)

For UK and EU residents, these are statutory rights under UK GDPR / EU GDPR. For everyone else, we offer them as policy. To exercise any of these, email sneha@praxline.com with your request — we aim to respond within 14 days.

08Data retention

We keep your data only as long as we need it:

  • Enquiry email: kept until the conversation is complete, plus 12 months for follow-up
  • Active client data: kept for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years (legal/accounting requirement)
  • Newsletter subscribers: kept until you unsubscribe
  • Server logs: typically rolled over within 30–90 days

09Security

We use HTTPS for all site traffic, encryption-in-transit for emails (TLS), and access controls on any systems holding client data. No system is perfectly secure, but we follow sensible practice and notify affected parties promptly if anything ever goes wrong.

10Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top and — for material changes — notify subscribers and active clients by email.

11Contact

For any privacy question, complaint, or rights request:

  • Email: sneha@praxline.com
  • WhatsApp: Open in WhatsApp →

UK / EU residents who are unsatisfied with our response can also contact their local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
