Concept redesign · not a client engagement
A one-page site for an Edinburgh hair salon, led by the stylist's craft

The brief
Cici Salon is a hairdresser at 127 Gorgie Road, Edinburgh, run by a Venezuelan master stylist who has worked since 1989. The work is colour: balayage, highlights, keratin, Japanese straightening and perms, as well as cuts for every hair type.
A salon this size does not need a large site. It needs one confident page that shows the work, lists the services and makes it easy to ask for an appointment.
What we left alone
The services, address and the stylist's story come from the salon's own material. The design only changes how they are shown.
The build
One long page with an editorial feel: large imagery, a serif display face for headlines, and a plain sans for details. Services are grouped by what the client wants to change, with the practical information, address and opening details, close to the top on a phone.
The page includes local-business markup for Gorgie and Edinburgh so it can be found in local search.
Booking is a plain contact route in this concept and is not connected to a booking system.

What it shows
- A small business can be well served by one page.
- Imagery of the actual work does most of the selling.
- Local details belong near the top for someone on a phone.
- Placeholders are honest: booking is not connected.
Cici Salon is an existing business. This is an independent concept built without a brief, and is not endorsed by or made for them. Their name, logo, text and photography belong to them and are used here only to show the design. If you are the owner and would like this changed or removed, get in touch.
