The brief
GellifiQue is a nail bar and beauty salon at 159 Great Junction Street, Edinburgh. It offers BIAB, gel nails and extensions, hair colour, brows, lashes, make-up and massage, from beauticians trained in Ukraine, and takes bookings online.
A salon like this wins on clarity: what is offered, what it costs and how to book. The redesign puts those three things in front of the visitor first.
What we left alone
Services, prices and the address come from the salon's current site. The redesign changes the order and presentation.
The build
A bright, clean layout with the full price menu easy to scan, and booking as the main action on every page. Each service area has its own page so that search engines and visitors can find it directly.
The site is built mobile-first, because most people will open it from a phone, and carries local-business markup for the Edinburgh address.
Online booking links out to the salon's booking system in a live version. In this concept it is not connected.

What it shows
- A price menu that is easy to scan is a selling tool.
- One main action, booking, on every page keeps the site simple.
- Each service area deserves its own findable page.
- Placeholders are honest: booking is not connected.
GellifiQue Nail Bar is an existing business. This is an independent concept built without a brief, and is not endorsed by or made for them. Their name, logo, text and photography belong to them and are used here only to show the design. If you are the owner and would like this changed or removed, get in touch.
